Vintage Greeting Cards - Produced in Maine
These
cards are made on a vintage printing press and use designs patterned on
illustrations dating back to the 1870’s. Jane Goodrich
started Saturn Press in her garage in 1986, with old hand presses and type. Printer James van Pernis now produces Jane's designs at the current home on Swan Island, a small island off the coast of Maine. The cards are produced individually on hand-set letter presses from the early 1900's. |
